A Henry County man has been sentenced to 23 years for his role in the death of two brothers in 2014. James Moore was convicted in December of first-degree murder and use of a firearm in the shooting deaths of Alfonso and Noel Navarro-Pena in 2014. The judge upheld the term recommended by the jury, sentencing Moore to 20 years for first-degree murder and three years for use of a firearm during the commission of a felony. Moore was sentenced Wednesday. A second suspect, Jonathan Rivera-Olvera, is scheduled for trial in June. He is charged with two counts each of first-degree murder and use of a firearm during the commission of a felony.
