Martinsville, VA – The Martinsville-Henry County Chamber of Commerce and the Chamber’s
Partnership for Economic Growth announced today, that Lisa Fultz has been appointed President of the Chamber following a closed session meeting with both boards. Fultz has worked for the West Piedmont Business Development Center, the EDC’s Office of Small, Minority, and Entrepreneurship and is currently the Executive Director of the West Piedmont Workforce Development Board.
“We are pleased to have someone with Lisa’s experience join our team and continue the great work and success the Chamber and C-PEG have recognized in recent years,” said Chamber Chairman, Pat Caldarera. “Her selection was based on her history and experience in economic and workforce development and our confidence in her ability to lead and grow our organizations”.
The Chamber and C-PEG currently manage small, commercial and retail business efforts for
Martinsville and Henry County. They also manage the business services component for the West Piedmont Workforce Development Board.
“Lisa’s knowledge in small business and workforce development will position our organizations to recognize continued success and we look forward to new programs and initiatives that we will embark upon to continue to be relevant and meet the needs of our membership and community as a whole,” said John Parkinson, C-PEG President.

Fultz’s first day will be August 21st.
