Annie Moe Dillard, 93, of East Church St. Apt 17A, Martinsville, Va., passed away Thursday, February 8, 2018 at her home. She was born June 10, 1924 in Virginia to the late Claudine F. Martin and Prim Deshazo. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin F. Dillard; one sister, Jessie Deshazo; and two brothers, Frank Deshazo and Robert Deshazo.
Annie is survived by three daughters, Audrey “Chynita” Hairston and Deborah “Boo” Dillard both of Martinsville, Va., Claudette “Tee” Davis of Ripley, Tenn.; two sons, Mario (Pauline) Dillard of Indiana, Joe(Donna) Dillard of Martinsville, Va.; seven grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
Annie was a member of Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church where she was on the Usher Board. She retired from Memorial Hospital of Martinsville & Henry County.
The family will receive friends one half hour prior to the service and other times at the home, 1151 East Church St. Apt 17A, Martinsville, Va. Funeral service will be at noon held Thursday, February15, 2018 at Pilgrim Baptist Church. The Rev. Eric Hairston, officiating.
Interment will be in Carver Memorial Gardens, Martinsville, Va.
