Three suspects have been arrested for the September 26th robbery that occurred in the 600 block of Arnett Blvd. On September 26, 2018, at approximately 8:30 pm Danville Police responded to the 600 block of Arnett Blvd for a report of a robbery. A female victim reported to officers that she was approached by three male subjects, one of which pointed a handgun at her and demanded her purse. The three subjects were described as black males in their early teens slim build and not wearing masks. During the confrontation, the subject with the firearm attempted to take the victim’s purse by force but was unable to do so. The victim sustained minor injuries during the attempt. The did obtain the keys to her car and left the scene in her 2014 Kia Sportage. The victim was transported to SOVA Health Danville and treated for minor injuries.
Danville Police have arrested 23-year-old Ramello Armon Harris, 19-year-old Dominique Lawrence Ortiz, and 21-year-old Autumn Renee Price, all of Danville and charged them with carjacking. All have been jailed in the Danville City Jail under no bond. Harris has also been charged with the use of a firearm in the commission of a carjacking.
